Designed specifically to help around extremely tight header combinations. The access window in the side of the socket allows the socket to slip on to the plug at almost a 45° angle allowing it do get past the header tube. It is one of those tools you didn't know you needed!

This thing is an absolute lifesaver. I use it to remove the spark plugs on my boat, where the exhaust manifolds sit so close to the plugs that a standard spark plug socket simply won’t fit. Without this socket, I would practically have to remove the exhaust manifold just to change the plugs.

I’ve seen comments criticizing how thin the socket is, which completely misses the point—it’s specifically designed to be thin enough to reach spark plugs in extremely tight spaces. That’s exactly what makes it so useful.

It works perfectly for my application, saves me a tremendous amount of time and aggravation, and is worth every penny. If you’re dealing with spark plugs in a tight-access application, I highly recommend it.
